Do you know why I like playing table tennis ?
Yes. There can be lot of reasons.
1. It is simple.
2. You need no much space to play.etc etc.
But one reason why I found it interesting is that the game starts with the phrase "LOVE ALL". Even if the player signifies "zero for both the teams" with that particular phrase, it always made me think about loving all :P "LOVE ALLLLLLLLLLL" "LOVE EVERY ONE".
Games are always good. But we like some games more than others. Or if i tell adversely, we dislike some games more than some others.
Today, I played the worst game ever. I don't know whether I can call it a game. The name is "TRUTH OR DARE ? " and the irony is I insisted my mates to play this. For those of you who does not know the rules of this game, I will explain.
SIMPLE...!!! People sit around a table. We will have a bottle.Make the bottle lie down on the table. Rotate it.When the bottle becomes stagnant, check to whom the bottle's cap is pointing. Now, any other person can ask that guy "TRUTH OR DARE ?" Most probably, he/she will say TRUTH.Or in most of the cases, they explicitly take it as TRUTH only.Then the person will be asked a question, which he/she has to answer faithfully.SIMPLE...!!!
The reasons why I hate this game is :-
1. While the bottle rotates, everyone prays so that the bottle does not point to them.
2. If it points and you are the person at "hot seat", then you need to wait for the question. And the question is surely going to be worse each time.
3. Finally,when the question is fired and its your job to answer, you got only one choice.
And that is...............
TO TELL ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE TRUTH...!!!!

Me and She !!!!!
It was our sports day.Now let me say proudly that I was the sports champion for 4 years in a row in our school.And that was from 9th to 12th. It was my last year in school and we had the custom of the "previous year champion lighting the lamp" as part of the inaugural ceremony.I had to run a 200 metre with a lamp first and then ignite the main big bowl kind of light which was placed near a big tree. I guess a banyan tree.
Wearing the track suit and the adidas shoes, I ran in an average speed of 10.5 km/hr. I ignited the lamp. Some teacher was announcing the events happening through a microphone. I could hear my name too in between. Its always good to hear our name through the speaker in a "big" crowd. That gives you more "visibility" in future if I use the corporate term.
I returned to the end of the line of boys from 12th standard being the tallest.My friend turned back and said
" Aliya superb".
"aliya" is a slang used among friends.
I asked: "What????"
He said: " She was looking at you all the time till you reach here. "
Now let me give you a brief introduction about this "she". she was my first crush. I always thought I could not live without her. Or rather I was damn sure, she will be my girl forever. On the process of explaining my love to her,I had to sacrifice or suffer lot of things. But it happens in every love story. Even once i had written in my mail to tie her hair in zig zag manner if she loved me. Thats some way of tying your hair in kerala. And the next day I saw her tied her hair so.I was amazed. Later on I could understand that she never check her mails. Even then I did not give up. But once when her brother called me and called me few names, I gave up. Not because my love was not sincere. But her brother was too healthy.
Now back to the sports day.
I said to my friend: " Macha... I had already given up. You know it na.? I dont think..she..ever... you know.. "
He(my friend) said: "Its not like that. She loves you. Thats why she was watching you all the time. Come one man. Respond to it , Respond to your heart"
I felt he is right. I had always felt he is right. I proceeded with my love for her. Later on by finishing the college, I had lot of "sincere" crushes. And right now when I recall that sports day incident, I could conclude it into 2 points.
My friend said to me that day :-
" da all the time she was looking at you" .
The first point is " everyone was looking at me. Because I was running with the lamp and that was a ceremony happening. And no point for anyone in looking anywhere else "
The second point is " He(my friend) was looking at her all the time.."
I smiled. What else can I do :)
